Easter has come and gone, and I hope you had a good time with the people you love. I took a few days to read, and quieten my life, and so there were no posts. Spring is here so let's concentrate on the new season, and especially on bags. It's so easy to update your look, whether you're a jeans and T-shirt kinda of girl or the Vavavoom kind. There are a couple of newish brands on the horizon that deserve a second look. These bags are cute, and mostly small-scale and  will force you to carry small doses of your life, and not throw a week full of receipts, make-up, health bars and bottle of water into a massive bag.

Manu Atelier

Two sisters inspired by their father's leather craftsmanship, they launched their Turkish brand in 2014 and already have a strong following.

Simon Miller

Originally founded as a menswear denim brand, it's expanded to include womenswear and the cult Bonsai bag has taken fashionistas by storm.

Mark Cross

Founded in 1845 and re-launched in 2010, this is an American luxury leather goods brand steeped in history.

Little Liffner

A brand that allows the wearer to project her own style, based in Stockholm, confidently old school, with no need for label showing.

Born in New York to two designers, it's a masculine bag with feminine details, always luxurious with high quality details.

Sara Battaglia

Sister to the fashion It Girl/ stylist Giovanna Battaglia, Sara's bags have all the attention they deserve, not only from being worn on her famous sister, not only because of their rainbow hues, but really because they're fun, different, no label stunning luxury bags.

So besides being good for your back, ( you can only carry a very edited choice !), mini bags  add a touch of nowness to your style.

Have a good week,
