I have them everywhere, from coat pockets, jackets, in handbags, clutches, gym bag, one in every car, the ubiquitous lip balm is essential in my life. I don't use much colored lipstick, so it's really important, and it feels good too, to have healthy, moisturised lips. I'm no snob either, as I use the basic Chapstick and Blistex, through to the classic Kiehl's tube, Smith's Rosebud Salve and perfumed Vaseline, use the more trendy one's like Korre's and Burt's Bee's, all the way the best of the best, the La Mer lip Balm.
A little trick I use, every week, take an old toothbrush, ( keep them in your toiletry cupboard, they always come in use), mix a little sugar and vaseline with your index finger, place it on the toothbrush and exfoliate your lips. This takes the old, dead skin away, moisturizes and plumps up the lips by stimulating all the blood vessels in the lips.
Have a good weekend,
p.s. Check in tomorrow as I'm going to make a really easy Cucumber Gazpacho for the weekend!
