Just have to share with you my latest find! Last week I went for my monthly dye job, ( yes, my beautiful blonde locks are not 100% natural) and decided to do some highlights.I don't do them very often as I think highlights really damage already tinted hair so I tried this new amazing product that my colourist Fernando at Patrick suggested. Olaplex, from California of course, ( the place where all blondes end up!) is this amazing new hair re-constructor that is free of silicone, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes, gluten and is never tested on animals. It restores broken disulfide sulfur bonds, ( the stuff that prevents hair from breaking off) in the hair. These hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services. So if you do colour your hair, or over process with hair dryers, curling tongs and straighteners, and I suppose most of us do in some form, ask your technician to apply it during the chemical process, and afterwards too. There is also Olaplex for us mortals that is available here on Amazon, so that you can maintain your color and silky texture at home in between salon visits.
My hair feels strong, not at all damaged and this is a great preparation for the summer season.
