An inspirational beginning to your fall/winter wardrobe, harping back to the 70's but perfectly grounded in the 21st century.

It's no secret that I absolutely love the 70's, not so much the psychedelic prints but the real chic, super-fabulous glamour of Marie Helvin, Bianca Jagger, Tina Chow, Lauren Hutton, Diane von Fustenberg. Especially at Studio 54, Yves Saint Laurent's parties and in Marrakesh!

My inspiration is the most divine dress from Gucci's new creative director, Alessandro Michele. An odd show to start with, but over time ( sometimes one needs a bit of a distance)  I fell in love! Maybe find your own version, and make it an easy transit from Summer to Autumn. Printed dresses, pair them with bare legs as long as you can, then switch over to tights to ward of the cold, always a basic.
